What is FontConvert?

It's a shortcut that you can run on your Mac to convert .ttf & .otf fonts to .woff2 font.

Installation

• Open a Terminal on your Mac.

• Install Homebrew if you don't already have it.

• Install woff2 if you don't already have it.

• Download the FontConvert shortcut if you don't already have it.

• Open the downloaded shortcut if it doesn't open automatically. The shortcut will be imported into your library.

Running

• The shortcut runs as a Quick Action in Finder.

• Right click the folder which contains the fonts that you want to convert. Go to Quick Actions and select FontConvert.

  *If you can't see it in the Quick Actions, then you will have to enable it. Go to System Settings -> General --> Extensions -->. Finder and enable FontConvert.

• You will see a message with the number of fonts to be converted. Pressing OK will start the conversion - Cancel will stop it.
