Talk

Tips & Tricks for UniFi Talk

You have configured your switch ports with an Ethernet Port profile for voice but the UI phone attached to this port insists on getting an ip from the data vlan instead of the voice vlan. You have tried everything, nothing works and you're in despare.

To force the phone to get an ip from the voice vlan and at the same time to allow devices attached to the phone's second port to get an ip from the data vlan you will have to manually configured the VLAN setting on the phone.

To do that go to your phone Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Ethernet Configuration -> Configure VLAN Interface.

  • Set the VLAN ID to the number of the voice vlan.
  • Leave the default VLAN Priority
  • Check VLAN Enabled
  • Press OK

This is for Touch Max but similar steps are available in the interface of the Touch phone.

Door Access

Tips & Tricks for Unifi Door Access

This is the first item’s accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It’s also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.
